Summer is the season we worry most about what we look like. We will spend plenty of hours in front of a mirror pondering over whether a swimsuit makes us look bloated or hating ourselves for buying that fake tanner that turned us orange. Along with our worries about what we and our friends look like, we're also bombarded by "reality" television shows that mainly cast size 0 girls and Adonis-like guys. It may sell on television, but should this sell in real life too?

Of course the answer is no. What many people don't understand is that as fun as it can be to watch, reality television is the furthest thing from reality anyone could think of. Mark Burnett, creator of the father of reality shows, Survivor, and some of the show's cast members have admitted that there is a lot that is "faked" or set up. Hikes to tribal council are done via Jeeps, fights are reenacted, and some aerial shots of the camps are actually crew members pretending to live on the island.
