Pirates of the Caribbean 3

At World's End

Okay, it's a little long. And a bit scary. And kind of gory (for a Disney flick). But, if the box office was a competition (you know, besides the whole money thing) Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End would definitely win "Most Entertaining."

Although, that may not be a compliment.

Set at what is usually a mind-numbing 168 minutes, PotC manages to cram multiple plot developments, new characters, and thrilling action sequences into it's nearly three hour running time without completely losing its audience, but it comes close.

Unlike the other sequels that have been released this season, PotC stays true to its predecessors, rehashing story lines without backtracking and introducing new bits along the way.

It was a great movie. I loved the visual effects. Johnny Depp is
amazing!
This was just the BEST movie pf them all!
Awesome, delicate, priceless!
I thought it was amazing, a bit long but totally amazing.
I absolutely loved Jack's expression when the rock crabs started
moving the Black Pearl. I so can not wait for it to come out on
DVD
I thought it was pretty good. but I think Jack and Elizabeth
should have ended up together.
I loved it.
IT was really long, and I was sitting in the crappiest theatre
ever, but overall I liked it.

Usually I never freak out over actors on movies, but I pretty much
did over Orlando Bloom. He is prettyyyy cute.
I loved the third movie.
totally awesome!
I loved it.

I don't reccomend seeing it with your boyfriend.
First of all, he'll be jealous that you're loving all over Johnny
and Orlando, plus if you even try to kiss your boyfriend for a
second you'd get so confused that the movie wouldn't even be worth
it.

But I definitely love PotC3 and all the others. I hope there's
more to come. I wouldn't mind wathing those actors for 12 hours
straight.
I HATED the part where Jack was freaking out with the rock
crabs...that was way to strange and confusing for me...

And it was one of those movies with so many twists that it took 20
minutes for them to finish one problem, and after all the fighting
and gore and violence they win and you're so happy, then they turn
around, AND IT'S ANOTHER PROBLEM that takes 20 minutes to get rid
of...after the 4th time that happened...I just wanted to leave.

But Orlando Bloom was super hot with that scar...oh yeah
i love priates and i really loved the 3rd one it was really
good..i could not stop laughing at all it was funny but i felt so
bad for will :( but it was still good :) i want to go see it
again!
I have seen both POTC 1 & 2 over a few dozen times and absolutely
love the movies. POTC 3 was a good movie but very predictable due
to all the commercials about the movie and the video games. I did
find the end amusing because it was predictable...the whole 10
years later bit.
i saw the whole movie and i can't wait till it comes out on dvd
cause im so gonna watch it again... it was a really good movie
i think that POTC 3 rivals the first one for the best, but i think
its my favorite. I think it was totally worth the 3 hours because
i was with my boyfriend, and of course Orlando Bloom(gushing) and
Johnny Depp.. Great movie!!!
POTC3 was my fave of all the potc movies, the acting was great,
the plot was awesome, the music was good, and of course Johnny was
in it!! I've allready seen it 3 times!!
I was worried because of all the negative reviews it was getting,
but I was laughing throughout so to me it was good. I liked it
better than the second one (to me, scenes in THAT one defined
drawn-out!).

Way to go imanangel for revealing the end to people who haven't
seen it.

I didn't stay until after the credits to see the last scene!!
MAN!
I thought it was really poorly written. As someone said earlier,
there were plot holes everywhere. I couldn't really get into the
movie because a lot of it didn't even make sense. The crazy
scenes were really stupid; I thought they really took the movie
down ten notches. I was completely disappointed with it, and I
absolutely loved the first one. The second didn't really have an
ending, so I was waiting for this one for it (I went to see it the
first night), but this ending was really disappointing. I didn't
like the ending for Will and Elizabeth either, but MAN was Orlando
Bloom smoking hot at the end!
They could have done without the trippy/crazy scenes. We know that
Jack is insane, we don't need any more proof.

Less gore, more characters, that's who we fell in love with! The
characters. Not the fighting scenes((which were all awesome until
the third movie))
Umm yeah.

I thought this sucked ass. And I loved the first two. But they
lost me here. The ending was bad, there were plot holes
everywhere...

HORRIBLE.
I loved the movie!!!

Keith Richards we actually drunk the whole time he was filming
lol.

I'm pretty sure there'll be a 4. They ended it in a manor where
they could have a 4 but they could stop there if they'd like.
I loved this movie, it was great and I must say even orlando bloom
did a decent job :D
I loved it! I had the same problem similar to divachick87 though.
But instead I was just extremely cold. I thought the movie theatre
wouldn't be too cold, and since I had a long sleeved shirt, I
didn't bring a sweater.

As much as I wanted to leave, I couldn't take my eyes off the
screen. It's a movie worth freezing over.
It was so good!!! it was way better than the second one...i hateed
it...and not as good as the first one. if you decide to see it u
must wait till after the credits. i almost cried in will died! it
was so sad!!! and it was kinda funny...the way they made calypso
so big. Also, don't watch it late at nite cuz it'll seem really
long and boring (i learned my lesson).!
yeah well..the characters were great but you know all about them
already except calypso and davy jones-so when they had their
scene-i was pretty bummed that it was well..weird. I liked the
other ones a lot better, this one was just lacking..it was lacking
in everything really..but still it was one of those movies you had
to see, and its not THAT bad
It was very interesting, and I loved it! It was a bit of a mind
trip during the beginning, but it was great.

It was REALLY long though! Normally I would not have minded the
duration, but I'd no idea that it was 168 minutes, and I drank a
LARGE diet soda during the movie.

The last 45 minutes I was praying it would end and telling myself
I"d rent it later to see the rest!

Whew!
i lthink this is the best one out of the three. i like in the end
after the credits r over where they show will coming back to
elizabeth and her son. it was heart warming
I saw POTC 3 four times opening weekend and I can't wait for the
time to see it again. Money well spent. Might quite possibly be my
favorite of the three!
i didn't like it much. the beginning (more the first time i saw it
then the second) looked like someone was on drugs when they made
it. Crabs? WTF?
But I might be biased because I was forced to sit through it at 8
on thursday, and then when it was over (11!) I had to stand in
line again to see it at 11:59. yeah.....
But I think I'll see it again just to give it a far chance. And I
will stay through the credits!
I think the ending was great, and if they make a 4, I'm not going
to see it as a matter of principle. The ending was perfect!
i thought that the movie was entertaining for the most part, but
hard to follow (who can understand the pirate accents and follow
the names ALL the time?). when i start checking the time, though,
you know a movie is too long.
it was alright, a bit too much going on throughout of the movies.
heard they might be the fourth one, cant wait. =]
I absolutely LOVE this movie! I watched it on Wednesday night
(5/23). It's AMAZING!! :) I plan on watching it many more times. I
love Johnny Depp!!!! :)
I just saw it last night at the El Capitan Theater in Hollywood. I
think the first in any series is the best. But this movie still
was great. It had Johnny and Orlando. Coomee on. Haha.
i thought it was good but really long and some parts were too dull
to pay attention to..i got bored. and i hate that they didnt show
what became of calypso and davey jones. the humors great tho.
biggest waste of $10,and nearly 3 hours of my life. This movie was
overly corny and the plot was so rediculous i nearly walked out. i
thought davey jones locker was supposed to be a terrible place..
an island with helpful crabs doesnt seem so bad to me. and what
the hell happened with calypso? sooo stupid. there are so many
stupid parts in this movie that they definitely outweigh the good
scenes by far. anyways, that's enough of my rant. here's a word of
advice though: don't waste your money on this movie! atleast wait
until it comes out on video, and save a couple bucks.
Make sure you stay til all the credits are done. Because just like
in 1 and 2 there's a little scene at the end.

My hubby and I spaced it and walked out, my little sister told me
about the scene I wish I had seen it.

I think this movie was really good for a 3rd. I think Disney broke
through their sucky sequals pattern with these movies. Thank
goodness. It's definatly pretty violent, I don't know if I would
let my 13 year old see it. My 3 year old daughter loved the
previous two, but there's no way she'll see this one til she's
older.
i love JOHNNY DEPP!!!
I saw it opening night. I thought it was good (come on... it's
'pirates'!) but not as good as the first 2.
