Giving back to others could quite possibly be one of the best feelings in the world simply because you are helping out someone in need. Many musicians have donated thousands, even millions of dollars to various charity organizations. By reaching out to people that are in need of aid, these musicians are creating a world where opportunities can flourish in countries that may not have been able to do so on their own. People affected by natural disasters all over the world are receiving the right kind of care and aid to help them get back on their two feet again. Like the saying goes, sharing is caring. And in giving we are creating a better world for everyone.

Music for Relief was established by the band Linkin Park in 2005 after the tsunami that hit South Asia. Initially the group felt that they themselves could set an example to fans and other musicians if they contributed to the horrific event that had occurred halfway across the world, yet in doing so they actually became the founders of this organization.
Music for Relief is continuously helping victims of natural disasters with a strong emphasis on housing, education programs and resources. They also are interested in preventing future natural disasters from occurring by helping in reducing greenhouse gases and seeking other forms of renewable energy as well as informing the public of the current problems that are associated with climate change.
The organization is continuously aiding the U.S. Golf Coast in rebuilding areas that were hit by Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita. Music for Relief has formed a partnership with Habitat for Humanity and American Forests as a means to reach their goal.
Other musicians that support this organization include Good Charlotte, Jay-Z and Chris Rock.
