Dying your hair can be tricky, which is why a lot of girls shell out $60.00 to get their hair professionally done. But not all of us can afford to get our hair cut, colored and styled each month. Budget and time constraints lead women to at-home hair treatments to help keep up their stylish looks without making a trip to the salon. At-home dye treatments can look just as good as a professional treatment with the right tools and techniques, so keep reading to find out how to look like you just stepped out of salon!

I have never dyed my hair. Although, I have gotten highlights in
the past. My hair is naturally red. People are constantly telling
me they love my hair color and that they wish they could have that
color. The last time I got my hair cut, my stylist told me that
she would turn me away if I ever consider dying my hair. Once
thought about putting blue streaks in my hair. But that was a
while ago.
My hair is currently blonde with brown lowlights and light blonde
highlights.I used to dye my hair at home from the box and box dyes
are so bad for your hair.My hair didnt look so bad for me doing it
myself but it started to get really damaged.I have been going to
the salon every 2 months and let me tell you it is worth the $55.I
have been dying my hair ever since I was 14 and im 18 now.My hair
still looks healthy.

For all of you that go to the grocery store to get your hair dye
the best box dye is Garnier Frutis its not runny and it wont
damage your hair as bad as other box dyes.
i started a few years ago.. and playing with color is just so much
fun!
My hair is naturally blackwith red highlights .I've been coloring
it for 11 years now[I'm 20]. My favorite highlight style for
Summer is either red or your typical blond. This year I'm going au
natural and skipping highlights. I've only been to a professional
once. She chopped my hair short, and put bangs in it. The color
which was suppose to be this hot new color.. It ended up being a
shade or two lighter than my natural shade. Never Again. LoL.
I always dye my hair myself. right now my hair is blonde black and
purple. www.myspace.com/bustabusta

and next week, I'm dying my hair like Hayley Williams from
Paramore
i've been dying my hair since i was 11 (6 years total). i've done
all different colors, and i've done my own highlights also. i've
always dyed my hair myself. i've only had it done professionally 3
times, and all 3 times they messed it up so bad i had to have my
mom help me fix it.
its the way to go for me..this time i went for a dark red. n with
my dark brown hair..it looks more like red & black ! its
awesome..but i did spend a lot of money, professionally done...n
its hurting my pocket as i speak..
