You have to love routine...another weekend, another big-budget sequel. Opening this weekend at number one, The Fantastic Four 2: The Rise of the Silver Surfer may have lured audiences in with a promise of dazzling special effects and action-packed adventure, but failed to deliver the goods. Miserably.
This time around, The Silver Surfer (voiced by Laurence Fishburne) is wreaking havoc across the globe--threatening the planet with the reality of an impending apocalypse at his hand. He's mysterious and complicated (for Fantastic Four standards, that is) which already puts this installment ahead of its predecessor, but just because a character can fly through buildings and looks like a really cool metallic mannequin doesn't mean that it can successfully carry an entire big-budget movie.

Noticeably lacking is the quality of the special effects which work but do nothing in terms of enchanting an audience presumably there to be wowed by the visuals just as much as the (paltry) storyline.

However, agree with Jessica's lame hair. I not like her hair
style... but Love chris in it! :D Story/plot was new to me. I was
enjoying it...
