Tenchu Z
From Software (Xbox 360)

Ever since I was a young lad, I have wanted to be a ninja. Most children do, I think. Over time, kids grow out of there adventurous phase and become doctors, lawyers, accountants and other BORING, un-fun professions - but not me. I still want to become a ninja; I'm determined to do so. And although I don't have the means to become a ninja right now (strength, dexterity, discipline, Chinese stars) I can learn the art of patience and hand-eye coordination through Tenchu Z for the Xbox 360.

Tenchu Z relies on espionage tactics not unlike the Metal Gear Solid series. Players control a fully-customizable ninja (male or female) who is sent by Rikimaru, a master ninja, to accomplish difficult missions such as hastily-executed assassinations, following important nobleman without being seen and killing every enemy in sight. Keep in mind this is all done with expert precision and as silent as possible.

The game uses a novel approach to espionage by utilizing a "sound meter," which gauges the how loud your ninja is to his surroundings. Stay fleet-footed, live. Stumble like a drunk, die. It's that easy...or hard for that matter. Stealth rules all in Tenchu Z. And when playing co-op, nothing is more satisfying that teaming up with your buddy and wreaking havoc as silent as a mouse.

Ah, the mouse - how I long to have your ultimate strength of complete silence...
