One of the best things about Flavor of Love is the fake names they give the contestants. Toastee? Like Dat? Bootz? As if the names themselves weren't bad enough, the spelling makes them even funnier. Anyway, Flavor of Love is one of my favorite guilty pleasures. How can you NOT love trashy girls throwing themselves at a has-been rapper who wears giant clocks?
The obvious universal appeal of the show has led to not one, not two, but three spin-off series: I Love New York, in which the twice-jilted Tiffany "New York" Pollard looks for a man; Flavor of Love Girls: Charm School, in which some ex-contestants learn manners and compete for a cash prize; and the upcoming Rock of Love, starring Bret Michaels (lead singer of the 80's hair metal band Poison) as he searches for the love of his life. Let's take a closer look at these fantastic, sophisticated, QUALITY shows.
