The Dukes of Hazzard

A Truly American Show

I have been watching television since I was a little kid. The first satellites came out a couple of years before I was born, so I had a lot of channels to choose from, unlike my mother did when she was little. I liked to watch some of the older shows like Dukes of Hazzard. It was a show that highlighted everything that I hold dear. This show was made to entertain but it also teaches people about life.

It showed a simple way of life, much like the way I was raised, and it showed how some people (even though they do everything they can to avoid it) still manage to get in trouble. The Duke boys always got into trouble, but they always found a way to get out of it, all while exposing one of Boss Hogg's evil plans to put them in jail and destroy their lives.
