When you're looking to rent a movie it can be hard to find something to get when all the new releases are taken. Should you sink to a very low level and try out Disney movies again? How about going back in time to the 80's and picking up a few movies from the decade of spandex, legwarmers, and hairspray...

Sorry about not including the Breakfast Club everyone. It is my
all time favorite, but due to it being rated R, I wasn't sure if I
was allowed tto include it.
I would have traded sixteen candles for The Breakfast Club. Why
are there just 5 anyway? Couldnt 10 have been more fair?
where's the breakfast club?
These are awesome movies and when I think of the 80s, these are
the movies I watched over and over. Yes, get rid of Say Anything
and put Breakfast Club on there. But that is the only movie that
should be removed. The Princess Bride is an AMAZING movie and
should most definately be on there. If you got rid of that, than
you do not count as a human being and have no taste in GOOD
movies.
I love Say Anything.

<3 LLOVEE John Cusack.

I've never seen The Princess Bride
Those are some good picks, I agree most of them are awesome
movies, but there are other ones that merit some recognition, like
the first Ninja Turtles (I know I'm a dork)
I sort of agree with the list...but, I think the Breakfast Club
should have been on the list. I didn't like the Princess Bride. I
thought it was sort of a lame movie. The Breakfast Club should
have been there instead of the Princess Bride.
dirty dancing thats a really good movie =]]
this list sucks balls
Uh, Where is The Breakfast Club? The Breakfast Club should be the
1st on the list! :-)
what about The Goonies, my boyfriend is a zombie, ...
i guess by 80s movies, like really typical stereotyped 80s
stuff-themes instead of any good movies from the 80s
Where's the freakin' Breakfast Club?
where is The Breakfast Club? How can you have a list of great
80's movies without The Breakfast Club? I loved the Princess
Bride! Still do!
these movies good but wheres like the movie DONT TELL MOM THE
BABYSITTERS DEAD was a great movie and THE BREAKFAST CLUB was also
a god movie
Where is the Breakfast Club?
I havent seen any of these so called 80s movies. Where is Eddie
Murphy's movie COming to America. These movies suck

I loved the princess bride and back to the futures. Breakfast club
needs to be there.
No "The Breakfast Club"? That movie was everything 80's. Same with
"Back to the Future". There should have been a top 10 or 20
because there are A LOT of 80's films that I remember. "Empire
Strikes back" (c'mon best Star Wars film ever). "Fast Times at
Ridgemont high". "Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure" (though this
one came out in 1989, but still....). I can go on.

But I'm soooo happy to see "The Princess Bride" on here. My sister
and I were obsessed with this movie as little girls. Same with
"Dirty Dancing". <3 "Ferris Bueller" was hilarious.
oh mannn i love the 80's. best music, best movies... say anything
was my favorite, then dirty dancing, then ferris bueller, then
sixteen candles. never saw the princess bride.
Most of these are mid to late 80s teen movies. The Princess Bride
is cool. What about other movies like Beverly Hills Cop,
Ghostbusters, The King of Comedy, The Empire Strikes Back, or
Poltergeist? It's good to have some variation
the princess bride?
are you kidding me?
i saw it when i was like 10 and hated it back then lol
Dirty Dancing = <3

I even love Havana nights.

The Breakfast Club should definitely me on there, too! ANother
fantastic movie.
no breakfast club?? are you serious?

say anything is one of the worst movies ever
about Sixteen Candles...it said she had a crush on the most
popular guy in her grade...i thought samantha was a sophomore and
jake was a senior.

but anyway, i'm SO glad that Say Anything was included in this.
it's always such an underrated classic 80s movie. so is Better Off
Dead.
MY FAVORITE 80'S MOVIES WERE THE LAST AMERICAN VIRGIN AND VALLEY
GIRL!!!
I love all of those movies, except for Say Anything, because I
haven't seen it. I love movies from the 80's. Anything with the
Corey's, is quintessential for the 80's. Some I love are The Lost
Boys and The Outsiders. Both of which I have a movie poster on my
wall in my room. The Goonies, Lucas, The Breakfast Club, Pretty in
Pink, even St. Elmo's Fire. There are way too many for me to name.
TWO of my faves... Dirty Dancing and Sixteen Candles...
they should have "back to the future"
mm..I'm not much of a Ferris Bueller fan. I agree, Breakfast Club
should have been listed, along with The Goonies. Maybe on a Top
10.
It's my favorite movie, and not a bad book, either. It is SOOOOO
funny, but there's still all the sword fighting and what have you
that really keeps you entertained. <3!
not a big fan of any of those really...i'd choose some 80s horror
movies instead:
the lost boys
nightmare on elm street
and
dream a little dream
liscence to drive
st. elmos fire
btw the dude who played the principal in ferris is a child
molester who lives in my area...
i really didnt like sixteen candles, The Breakfast Club is so much
better.
the princess bride is my favorite movie in the entire world...i
actually didnt expect it to be on the list and was ready to defend
it, but i give you many kudos. i also love dirty dancing :o) and
if it were my list, the breakfast club would have been on there
also <3
I watched say anything just last night on tv. That movie will
always be a great movie one of my favorite. All these movies are
great. I think the best part of watching a classic 80's movie is
that you can watch it with your mom with out either one of you
complaining about it. Also another great thing is the make great
sleepover movies when you are younger. :)
awsome choices for movies.I love say anything and dirty dancing
and sixteen candles
