Making our fashion fantasies come true

We all want the fantastic designer styles and red carpet looks of our favorite celebs but that doesn't mean we can afford the price tag that comes along with them. Designers are finally coming to the realization that everyday girls can't afford to make designer clothes a part of their wardrobes and their taking the necessary steps to change that. Our fantasy closet can now become a reality thanks to discount retailers. Budget-friendly designer looks can finally be a girl's best friend with help from stores like H&M, Target and Steve & Barry's.

For affordable, trendy clothing, try shopping at H&M. This Swedish retailer markets in-style clothing at a discount price, but also caters to high-end fashion lovers with their exclusive collection lines. Back in November 2004, H&M launched their first exclusive line by Karl Lagerfeld, famed Chanel and Fendi designer. The line by Lagerfeld was immensely popular and quickly sold out. Following this success, H&M launched a collection by Stella McCartney in November 2005, and then a collection by Viktor & Rolf in November 2006. Singers Madonna and Kylie Mingoue also created limited lines in the beginning of 2007 for the chain. H&M recently announced that Roberto Cavalli will design an exclusive line for their fall 2007 season.

Cool clothes on the cheep. That's just boss!
Cynthia Rowley has designed a makeup collection for Avon as well.
It goes on sale in Campaign 20, which for me is starting on
September 18th. I thought the name sounded familiar.

I love SJP's new line. I wish I could buy it closer to home!
There are actually some items on eBay, so get your credit cards
out!

Great article :)
I really need to go shopping now!
