Spending all day outside with the wind and sun can do major damage to your skin. The cosmetic industry is filled with products offering SPF protection. However the one part of our body we most often ignore? Our lips. There they are, on our face, all day long enduring the brunt of the sun rays and the rough wind flying by - yet we ignore them.

There are an abundance of products out there, so I'll give you the scoop on my personal top 5, to cover everything from basic protection, up to snazzy gloss that can complete your look.

I just put regular sunblock on my lips, then chapstick and/or lip
gloss. Is sunscreen meant for the rest of your body OK to use on
lips? I hope so, cuz I do it a lot.
My favorite is Chapstick's Lip Moisturizer with SPF 15, I have
like 3 tubes that I keep in different places so I'll always have
some on hand. MAC's tinted lip conditioner is pretty good too.
Most of my lip products I use have SPF in them. My current
favorites are Avon's Ultra Color Rich lip gloss (just came out--
it's SPF 15), and the Beyond Color lip conditioner. I am the lip
gloss queen. I can never have enough lip gloss or the lip
conditioner. Especially when it goes on that smoothly.
