Breaking news: Transformers have gone the way of Pokemon!

The Nintendo DS' offers up two completely different methods of robo-retaliation, either as the heroic Autobots in Transformers: Autobots or the dastardly Decepticons in Transformers: Decepticons. Both games focus on Transformers'' locating the all-powerful AllSpark, with the Decepticons wanting to use its massive power for world domination and the Autobots trying to protect the precious item from the forces of evil.


Transformers: Autobots has players controlling a default Autobot which you name and customize. After a few missions that play out like a tutorial the game dives right into some challenging missions that have your Autobot protecting the commonwealth, battling Decepticons and preserving the AllSpark.

On the darker side of the story Transformers: Decepticons has your Decepticon taking orders from Starscream and wreaking havoc in every shape, way or form on anything in your path - Autobots, humans, random objects - to gain control of the AllSpark. Also, it's your job to locate the remains of Megatron and resuscitate him, so he may return to his former glory.
