For most people, when the word "play" comes to mind, it's associated with video games, toys, and whatnot. Few people actually know that Play is a group of four incredibly talented girls from Sweden.

In 2001 Laila Bagge, a dance instructor, decided to put together a pop group. She asked one of her students, Anna Sundstrand if she'd like to be in the group. Laila then saw Anais Lameche in a musical and asked if she wanted to be in Play. Anais also agreed and Laila held auditions for two more spots. After days of auditioning, she finally found Rosie Munter and Faye Hamlin. The girls quickly bonded and Play was born.

While on a tour with Aaron Carter they were asked to perform in a Mary Kate and Ashley movie called Holiday in the Sun. After that, millions of people heard about Play and marked their calendars for the release of their first album, Play. On July 25, 2002, the seven track album was released and after only three days on the market, it went gold.

What was the point on posting an article about a group not
together anymore? :|
I still love Play! I loved them when they first came out, and
even though they have since broken up, they did very sweet music
and they just had such great voices! I still love "I Must Chase
The Boys".
According to their agents they seperated to pursue solo careers.
If you go to play-mania.com you can find out more.
I still love them and listen to Radio Disney sometimes just so I
can hear their music! I'd wondered what happened to them and I
wonder why they separated!
I used to really love Play when I was 12. They are really talented
girls, and I love 'I Must Not Chase the Boys'.
