Your eyes meet over the dysfunctional coffee machine in the break room. You ask if he can pass the creamer for what promises to be the first coffee of many today. When you walk into the office tomorrow, he grins at you with a boyish charm and you feel your resolve to keep the workplace as just a place for work, starts to melt.

But you're smart enough to realize that any kind of relationship you initiate (or he or she initiates) can have a huge impact on your job and the people in your workplace. You dread the thought of gossip over break and the knowing looks your boss shoots at you when the object of your affections is close at hand.

So how do you successfully navigate the workplace if you do decide to pursue a relationship? Here are a few ironclad rules you need to remember to keep the professional relationships kosher and keep tongues from wagging.

uhm...i don't work. i go to school. and no one cares who you date
when you're a student. =]
I think you should have mentioned something about when it ends, I
