Old bands we'd love to hear from again

Back in the good old days when Britney was still a virgin, the Backstreet Boys had five members and bubblegum was a reference to music, the world was filled with many stars hoping their careers would last forever.

Unfortunately, most artists from those days have long since unplugged their mics while only a handful have continued their success. Justin Timberlake continues to knock out chart topping hits, but one has to ask: What about other artists and groups that were part of the bubblegum pop era? With artists like Britney Spears hoping for a big comeback, here's a small list of former Tiger Beat pin ups that are long overdue for a huge radio hit.

Hanson

This sibling group produced one of the biggest singles of the 1990's, "MMMBop." Isaac, Taylor, and Zac along with the Spice Girls helped pave the way for other pop stars back in 1997. "Where's The Love," "I Will Come To You," and "Weird" were big hits for the band, as well as their Christmas album Snowed In. Though the group had a mild resurge of popularity in 2000 with the singles "If Only" and "This Time Around", they have never been able to match the success of their first huge hit. Their latest album, The Walk, was released back in July and landed at No.56 on the charts, but it hasn't produced a hit single for the band to have a significant comeback. Having a comeback may also prove to be more difficult, as the boys have grown out of their young (often ridiculed) girlish looks into grown men, all of whom are now married.
