Put down those pop-tarts and cookies, this Fall Fitness magazine is determined to give you some tasty treat alternatives for the student on the go. These treats are nutritious, delicious and perfect for your hectic schedule as you run to class or to work.

When you are driving in your car and you feel a hunger pain, don't spoil your dinner with a burger and fries. Pull up to McDonald's drive-thru and order the healthy Fruit and Yogurt Parfait. This fruity delight is only 130 calories and will satisfy your hunger without eating a ton of junk.

You hop off the school bus and you are famished. It has been hours since you ate lunch and dinner seems like eon's away. Instead of reaching for an unhealthy snack for a quick relief, grab some Wheat Thins and String Cheese. Crackers and cheese used to seem like a snack food for grown-ups but now it's a super cool and super yummy after school snack. One single serving bag of Wheat Thins and one String Cheese will add 240 calories to your healthy frame but will also leave plenty of room in your stomach for dinner.

Gosh... all that stuff sounds... awful :-) Sorry... I'm not a
healthy eater though - but I'm trying to do better.

One thing I found about chocolate though. I used to go through
about a bag of milk chocolate chips (not chocolate chip cookies -
just chocolate chips) in a day and I replaced those with a single
bag of dark chocolate (Dagoba 73% caco chocodrops) and a few
pieces satisfy my chocolate craving and the bag has lasted me over
2 weeks.
I always drink a green tea smootie each morning..they are really
good..
