What your look says about YOU!

People have always told you not to judge a book by its cover. Well, the experts at Cosmopolitan magazine have taken into consideration that most of us can't help it. So, they have figured out that "your cover," the way you do your hair and makeup may have an impact on how others perceive you. Since you now know, you can use this to your advantage.

Let's say you have a job interview, according to the experts, your makeup and hair can indicate signs of maturity. In order to impress the potential boss, you should wear your hair pulled off your face (try a low pony-tail) and you should also try out a bold colored lipstick. Cosmo suggests trying American Beauty Luxury for Lips in Sweetheart for $12.50.

If you are the new girl at school, you want to seem friendly and approachable. Cosmopolitan experts say that there are certain physical traits that won't make you look intimidating. A good way to start is to channel your inner child. You don't have to put your hair in pig-tails, but having rosy cheeks and shiny tousled hair should do the trick. Use a large-barrel curling iron to get soft loose waves and apply a rosy-peach combo cream blush to the apples of your cheeks.

The day has come. It's time to meet the parents. It's so stressful Ben Stiller made two movies about it. When you meet your boy (or girl's) parents you want to go for a look that is classic and sophisticated. According to the experts, all you have to do is tone it down a notch. Stick to mild colors for your face, while balancing out your skin tone. As for your hair, use a flat-iron and Kiehl's Silk Straightening Cream for a nice, sleek look.

It's party time! Want to be the life of the party and talked about all week long? Then the Cosmo experts have got a suggestion for you. In order for your crush to give you the stare-down, you should appear available but never be available.

"The perfect good-time-girl appears fun and flirtatious but also a bit intimidating," say the experts for Cosmo.

For your makeup, let your deep purple smokey eyes and heavy black mascara do the flirting. But in order to not look like a clown, apply some nude lip gloss and a little bit of blush. For your hair go curly, spiral curly. After you towel dry your hair, scrunch some curl enhancer onto your damp tresses, like Pantene Pro-V Curls Defining Comb-in Treatment, then blow dry with a diffuser.

As it was said before, don't judge a book by its cover, but with what your look can say about you, you can definitely fill the pages inside.
