Chibi-Robo Park Patrol

Nintendo

(Nintendo DS)

As much as I don't fancy myself a typical female, every once in a while a game comes along that appeals to the estrogen within. When I first saw Chibi-Robo Park Patrol, I was smitten with the pint-sized robot and his Technicolor world full of flowers and Happy Points. Not only is Chibi adorable, he's environmentally conscious. This was so something I get behind.

Chibi-Robo's first appearance was on the Game Cube. Back then, the little robot was nothing more than a glorified housekeeper for the Sanderson family. Now that he's found a new home on the Nintendo DS, he's thinking globally instead of locally. In the game, we learn that there is an entire army of Chibi-Robos at work restoring rundown parks around the world that have been destroyed by pollution. But pollution alone isn't the sole enemy in the game. Sergeant Smoggler, a toxic villain whose origins are shrouded in mystery, is hell-bent killing innocent flowers with his smoglings and reversing all of Chibi's hard work.

this game sounds awesome! do you do other environmental things
besides flowers and parks? like streams and seashores? would be
great if you could go around teaching other people about enviro
stuff, and getting auto makers to reduce emmissions :)
