What better way to attain fashion and beauty advice than from beauty queen's themselves? The girls of America's National Teenager, Brenna Welsh and Rianna Polin, divulged to Kiwibox their inner fashion tips and beauty secrets. Miss Pennsylvania Junior National Teenager Rianna Polin, 16, says that she loves talking and connecting with an audience. It's a good thing too since she has been in the pageantry system for over three years now. The bubbly brunette is the co-captain of her school's cheer squad and also does avid volunteer work for the Boys & Girls Club. So where does she find the time to stay in shape?
"I work out everyday, if I can't workout I have practice," says Polin. "It also helps to eat right and just stay active."
She says she tries to stay away from junk food like potato chips, but she does have a weakness, chocolate covered strawberries and chocolate covered pretzels.
"When that's the case I'll have one or two, I won't go overboard," Polin says.
Miss New Jersey National Teenager Brenna Welsh, 20, a Communications major at Farleigh Dickenson University doesn't sweat it if she doesn't make it to the gym for a week.
"I try to work out, but I don't stress myself out over it," says Welsh.
Instead, Welsh will try to eat healthy and doesn't concern herself with any crazy diets.
"It's kind of hard with school cafeteria food, but I do love ice cream," she says. "I eat it everyday it's all about limiting yourself instead of having 10 scoops I'll have 1 or 2."
