With the season premiere, it seems like everyone at Sacred Heart is back and they won't disappoint with only eighteen episodes remaining.
The beginning of the seventh season starts out right where the sixth season left us, with J.D and Elliot leaning in for the kiss that could change both their lives. They both shut their eyes and it seems like they will finally reunite. However, Elliot moves at the last moment, avoiding what seems to be inevitable for them as a couple.
The rest of the episode shows both characters thinking about their lives and if they are making the right decisions with their relationships. J.D ponders his relationship with Kim, deciding that the only reason he is with her, even after her betrayal in the last season, is because of the child she is currently carrying. The question is, is that enough to keep them together?
Elliot, always frazzled, looks at her relationship with Keith who she is about to marry. Was her almost-kiss with J.D a sign that they weren't meant to be together?
