
What do you get when have an anthropomorphic dog, a neurotic bunny, a 1960 DeSoto Adventurer and a ton of nihilistic humor? You get Sam and Max, two private investigators that began as comic book characters and live on today in an episodic PC game.

Each episode throws the duo into a completely ludicrous situation, and it's up to you to help dig them out. Gameplay goes a little something like this: you begin watching the episode as you would your favorite TV show, but when crisis hits (a crisis can range anywhere from locating Max's cheese inventory to decapitating a puppet president) the scene ends and waits for you to rectify the situation. You can point and click at just about any object in a room, each with their own significance and hilarious description. You carry an inventory of items in a cardboard box, and it's up to you to figure out how and when to use them.
