To say the Goo Goo Dolls' schedule has been busy is an understatement. After 21 years in the spotlight as one of America's most notable and loved rock bands, they have surpassed the era of the boy bands, shone through the days of the blonde and blonder pop stars and rode alongside every America Idol winner at the top of the charts. With thirteen Top 10 hits, the last one being as recent as this year, you'd think they would want to slow down, retire, maybe buy an island and enjoy vacations with no departure dates; but then you would fail to realize the intense work ethic and dedication this long-standing landmark in rock and roll possesses. With plans that include touring, filming television shows, creating their own recording studios, traveling to Africa and more, the Goo Goo Dolls are a far cry from stepping out of the spotlight.
Atoning to their active lifestyle, Robby Takac sits surrounded by the chilly November air that comes with every upstate New York fall. Most live and vacation in this area to listen to the soothing chirps of birds or rustle of falling leaves. Robby listens to the sound of power drills finishing their studio-to-be.
"Pretty much it is like a beehive of activity for me when I'm here," the long-haired vocal/ bass guitarist states. He is referring to coming back to his hometown that now houses a new band, a new studio and his very own record label, Good Charamel Records, which gives opportunities to up and coming bands hoping to follow in their successful footsteps. Having just finished a tour promoting their last album, Let Love In, Robby is gearing up for the release of the first volume of their Greatest Hits package slated to hit stores November 13, 2007.

I've loved Goo Goo Dolls for years! I was lucky enough to go to
the Buffalo concert on July 4, 2004. It was the absolute greatest
thing I've ever been to in m my life!
