High School Musical: Sing It!
Disney Interactive
(Nintendo Wii, PS2)

Ready to get your head in the game and bop to the top? Join Troy, Gabriella, and the rest of the High School Musical crew in High School Musical: Sing It! The game is based on the Sing Star style of games which tests your karaoke skills. The game comes in a bundle including a microphone, so it's a bit more expensive than other games on the market. So, is it worth it?
If you and your friends are avid fans of High School Musical, then yes. If you're buying this for yourself, it could be fun for a few minutes, but it'll quickly lose it's shine.
The gameplay has a few different modes. There's Quick Challenge, where you select one of six characters, a song, and a location and sing into the microphone whichever part you're given. There's also a story mode, which actually takes you through the first movie, so you rotate the characters you play. As you progress through each singing competition, you earn points based on how well your voice matches with the part of the song you have to sing. It's pretty easy if you get lost during a harmony since there are bars that show you where your voice is compared to where it should be and cues as to when to come in. The more points you get, the more characters, songs, outfits, and locations you can unlock.
