The first 15 minutes of Robert Zemeckis's Beowulf pissed me off. The animation (which is not so much DreamWorks as it is real people outlined in computer generation) was super hard to get used to, and I wasn't sure I could deal with two hours of testosterone overload.

However, after I got used to looking at characters who weren't 100% real or 100% fake, got over the fact that the hero in the story just really wanted to be badass, and decided to appreciate the film for it's entertainment value, I started to have a great time.
