With the holidays long past, it's time to get back into your routine-or start a different one in celebration of the new year and a new beginning. Your activities and commitments are undoubtedly endless, so what better way to keep yourself organized than with a cute tote, but still keeping you fashion savvy. Ditch the tiny clutch-big is back.

1) The presidential election is coming up, and though you may be too young to vote there is never a wrong age to proudly show your opinions to the world. With this tote from Urban Outfitters, you can make a statement without being overly obnoxious. The lightweight but sturdy cotton canvas is perfect for daily use, and won't fall apart easily. On the same note, the Omnipeace tote from Kitson sends out a positive message-who doesn't want more peace in this chaotic world?

Omnipeace White Vinyl Tote, shopkitson.com, $80.00

2) Who doesn't like a little lamination in their life? This tote from Anthropologie comes complete with a glossy exterior, so you don't have to worry about spilling your morning mocha on it in transit to your 7am class. The colorful pattern will go with everything you wear, and the four pockets on the inside will keep your gloss, keys, and sunglasses easily accessible. The price may be a little steep but consider it an investment-you certainly won't outlast this one.

there is no way to know who can afford what, that's why the writer
included numerous totes at different price points
good article, but it's annoying when you post things it's highly
unlikely we can afford
Please tell me that the price listed for the first tote is a
misprint or typo...otherwise it's the price that's "overly
obnoxious," not the tote.
Tschuess, tootles, und liebe.
