It's the dawn of a new awards season in tinsel town, and with the looming writers strike the award shows themselves may be a bore, but the fashion more then over compensates.
This past weekend at the Screen Actor's Guild Awards (SAG) there were some fashion hits and misses and some were sporting possible baby bumps! It's normally a magical night when television and movies come together, but with more "blah's" then "ooh's" the night's winners and Daniel Day Lewis' dedication of his award to the late Heath Ledger was the only high point of the night.
Misses
Angelina Jolie in Hermes looked like she was hiding something, and it's not a mighty heart. Rumors have been a flutter on the gossip blogs that Miss Jolie is indeed preggers, and this dress would be perfect to hide a protruding bump. Besides the hideous colors and shapeless fabric, we just know she is up to no good.
Ellen Pompeo needs a stylist STAT! Dressed in what one can presume is tinfoil, the drab color and fabric wash her out, the only redeeming piece in her ensemble are the Fred Leighton diamonds.
Vanessa Williams in a marigold Escada gown, is possibly one of the worst gowns I've seen in a while. There are very few people who could pull off Marigold, and Williams is NOT one of them. Wilhelmina would NOT approve!
