Day three at fashion week started off with class and sophistication as Lela Rose showcased her new looks for the Fall/Winter season of 2008. I felt as if I was at a fancy cocktail party as the models in countless breathtaking dresses strutted down the runway with their half-up, slightly curled hair just so. Displayed throughout her 35 looks, bright pink silk gazar fell in tiered layers, taffeta gathered in the form of a gold parka, cardinal pullover and black strapless dress and peacock feathers accented black, wheat and fuschia cocktail dresses. Lela's ivory silk and wool tie back gown definitely stole the show and I can confidently say it was one of the most gorgeous gowns I had seen so far. Even more interesting was the focus of the show. Lela's collection featured seven different styles of shoes from Payless. "I Love Shoes" was the overall theme. Well, Lela we loved your collection as well.
