February may be a short month, but there's nothing short about upcoming music releases. Below are five albums that are perfect to pick up for a last minute gift for Valentine's Day or just for listening purposes.

We haven't heard from these Canadian rockers in a while, but on February 12, 2008 they will be releasing their third self titled album. The album brings Simple Plan back to their fun rock roots, working with producers such as Nate "Danja" Hills who added in some synthesized dance beats to their rock sound. Two versions of Simple Plan will be released this month, one will contain just the CD and the other will be the Special Edition that will include a DVD that features the "When I'm Gone" music video and some live performances.
