Red Hot Looks for Valentine's Day

It's a love-hate relationship most of us have with Valentine's Day. You love it when there is someone significant in your life to share it with, and hate it if you happen to be flying solo when February 14th arrives. But really, instead of picking sides this year, take a second to recognize the day for what it really is: a simple opportunity to show everyone in your life how much you care about them. What better way to get in the spirit than to deck yourself out in pink and red? Here's our fashion picks to make you look sizzling hot this holiday, sure to turn the head of your special someone or that cutie you've been eyeing in Calculus!

Lion Heart crew Neck T-Shirt ($68.00) and Grey Heart Hoodie ($95.00) at Kitson and shopkitson.com: Since V-day falls on a Thursday this year, chances are you are opting for comfort to get you through the school day. This Lion Heart Tee from Kitson is super long and cozy, and paired with the Heart Hoodie you'll be kept warm, too.

Pink Pony Classic Fit Polo by Ralph Lauren ($85.00): OK, so $85.00 might be more than you want to spend on a simple polo, right? Well, take heart. The Pink Pony Collection from Ralph Lauren donates 10% of the proceeds to the Pink Pony Fund supporting cancer research, which makes dropping the extra cash totally worth it. We like the Grand Prix Pink paired with the baby pink monogram--sweet and simple with a hint of sass.

The dress from Kohl's and the jacket were reasonably priced
(because jackets ARE expensive)... but even at 22 with a good job,
I'm never going to spend $68 on a t-shirt.

Amma
while it's nice that 10% of the ralph lauren polo goes to cancer
research, i'd rather donate more than the 10% to cancer and spend
way less on a polo from aeropostale.

and the lion heart tshirt looks like a night shirt rather than
something i'd wear in public. and if i'm spending $68 on
something to wear to bed, its gonna be something way more fun from
victoria's secret.
the dress from kohl's was ok & honestly the only thingi could
afford!
okay...i like holidays and all but those things are a bit
excessive any time of the year! most of these things you can deck
anytime (minus the ugly heart shirt) in support of cancer anyway.
i think oprah started that whole "wear red" to support cancer
thing. blah!! when you're going to school and just trying to
feed yourself, these things are not a need nor are some of these a
want. and if someone really wants to sped $300 on a loved
one...well then - guess you never heard the cliche "love don't
cost a thing". haha or was that a j-lo song?..."money can't buy
love" there another one!
Yeah, go Aerie! They have really cute vday stuff for alot less!
I think the article could have been a little more thought-out.
Really, who wants to 60 something bucks for a shirt that we can
make ourselves. Maybe some DYI valentine clothes projects would
have been better.
i really love that trench coat! and $78 isn't that bad.
Wow. These things are all pretty fug and excessively expensive for
the average quality.... Maybe next time you should cater to the
age demographic and include things that college/high school girls
can actually afford or will remain classic enough to wear again
and a again.
The t-shirt with the heart on it is the ugliest thing I've ever
seen.
Yikes... most of these things are pretty bad.
oh yeah....and the aerie tank is $15...who would pay $68 for that
ugly shirt???
the dress is cute but the shirt with the heart on it is
discusting! it looks stretched out ... try aerie.com for an
adorable tank with a red heart on it! much cuter than that tshirt.
