Meet the Spartans is a spoof of the movie 300 and is among many other movie spoofs such as Date Movie, Scary Movie, Epic Movie, and so on. From directors Jason Friedberg and Aaron Seltzer, Meet the Spartans has one thing in common with the other spoof movies, and that is Carmen Electra is a character in the movie.
The movie is about King Leonidas (Sean Maguire, who is training to become a Spartan. While after his training as an adolescent, he meets Margo (Carmen Electra) who he decides to make his queen. They have a son, Leo Jr. (Hunter Clary) who they train as a Spartan.
Exactly like the movie 300, King Leonidas decides to go to war with the Persians because he refuses to bow down to their king. In the end, the group of "30" Spartans meet their fate, but it has some hilarious moments along the way.
With fake "celebrity guest" appearances by Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, The American Idol judges, the Shrek baby, Rocky Balboa, Ugly Betty etc. the movie definitely has the audience cracking up.
