History in the Making

Right now...at this moment...you are witnessing history. We hear it all the time. Whenever something really big happens--Katrina, 9/11, declaring war on Iraq--it is a confirmed fact that we will be looking at this event from the pages of our children's textbook thirty years from now. When you think about, it is kind of cool. We were there; watching it from our own televisions and reading the articles right off our own news websites-- technology which of course will mostly likely be obsolete at such a time.

So, it is only fitting to report the latest in history-in-the-making. After years of ruling over one of the few communist nations in the world, Fidel Castro is finally stepping down. What does this mean? Why is he doing it? And what is this really putting an end to?

Why is communism a bad thing?
This isn't news. Nothing really happened. Castro only stepped
down, but communism still plagues the country. People, the CHANGE
will occur when every communist bigot dies in that island. Other
than that, nothing's changed. Just the leaders, but the story's
the same.
