Plainview was beyond mind blowing. He MADE the movie.
However I do feel bad for Johnny Depp since he is such an
incredible actor. He always has the misfortune of being nominated
for a great role but up against a role others find more
mindblowing. He will get an Oscar one day. I know he will.
As for Tommy lee Jones, I love him as an actor. I didn't seen "In
the Valley of Elah" but I heard he did a great job. He was
spectacular in "No Country For Old Men" though.
As for Viggo, watch the movie and watch the bath house scene. You
can't deny he deserves awknowledgment. What I like about him is
that he is very humble and if he gets recognition for his work
he's kind to give thanks but he doesn't really care about winning.
I love Viggo though, he's a great actor and I love everything he
does even if the movie isn't good.
George Clooney in "Michael Clayton", also mind blowing. This list
of Best Actors, I couldn't happier with. Great, great actors. Too
bad Daniel Day-Lewis had to steal the show though. Well, that's
not too bad of thing.
