In honor of our LA issue, I decided to write a little bit about my favorite actress living in the city of angels. She not only has great fashion sense, but she also is a genuinely good person. Here's a little bit more about her life that most probably do not know about.

Born on April 14, 1977, Sarah Michelle Gellar was raised by her single mother in New York City. At the young age of four, she was discovered by an agent in a local restaurant. Soon after, she landed a Burger King commercial that insulted McDonalds, eventually leading to a lawsuit. That same year, her first role came. She was cast in the TV movie, An Invasion Of Privacy. Since then, she has been featured in a string of television shows, all while maintaining a 4.0 GPA at New York's Professional Children's School.
In 1993, Sarah was cast in the famous soap opera All My Children as manipulative vixen, Kendall Hart Lang, a role she played for almost three years. She was nominated twice for the Emmy's "Outstanding Younger Leading Actress in a Drama Series" and won during her last year of the show. When she left, there were rumors that Susan Lucci was the reason for her departure. However, Sarah was never one to talk negatively about others and has not formally addressed the situation. Although All My Children was her breakthrough role, her big break did not come until she was cast in the lead role of a television series that premiered in 1997.
