In fashionable L.A., everyone just seems to have it all. The right car, the right hair, and especially, the right phone. These days, the "right" phone can look like it has more keys to operate than a NASA switchboard. The reason for this being is that communication is HUGE! The faster and more simple it is, the better. This all agreed upon, have we begun to push the limits of when it is OK and when it is not to be on your phone clickity clicking away? Now, if someone from generation hippie dislikes all this technology, what do they know? A new age has officially begun, and they need to catch up. You know, decades ago they predicted that by this day and age, the big 2000's, we would all have have flying cars, be able to breathe underwater, and taking vacations to the moon. I'm not sure why we would want all those capabilities, but people were psyched for them nonetheless! So sure, we don't have any of those bizarre commodities, but what do we have? We have EnV's, Sidekick III's, and Blackberries, all equipped with highly sophisticated, TEXT MESSAGING!

it doesn't really warrant a long conversation I'll text them. I
also text if I'm at school between classes and don't wanna subject
everyone around me to my conversation. My best friend and I text
each other every morning to say good morning and to have a good
day. We hve different schedules so its easier to text and respond
whenever we get the chance. And yes I admit to texting during
class but never in church or during work and I've never texted
while talking to someone or had that happen to me.
