Celebrity swimwear designer, PETA enthusiast and dog rescuer all encompass the human tornado that is Ashley Paige. Despite the hectic backstage atmosphere, she was still kind enough to chat with us amidst all the chaos of the model run through. The maven of the knit bikini showcased a darker side with her Fall 2008 collection inspired by the tragic life and death of modern dance icon Isadora Duncan. Departing from her hippie chic looks of past seasons, Paige knitted up some flirty vintage shapes, in tune with an art deco style and feminine lace trims to compliment her forward and fresh lingerie and swimwear. High waist bottoms, glamorous robes and plenty of sequins added to the old Hollywood glam.
Paige, the PETA activist and dog rescuer also included one more special aspect into her show, a three legged blue pit bull named Georgie who is up for adoption. Watch our exclusive interview with Ashley Paige below.
