Even if your family does not recycle, you hear about it everywhere. There are signs, posters even billboards dedicated to the cause. Sure, we know it is a good thing to do but why is it so important? What happens when you recycle? You are always told that it is better for you to recycle, but you are never told why. So in honor of spring cleaning, we are finally giving you a little background to clear things up.

We should reuse,reduce, and recyle.
Because some of the things you throw away take 1,000 years to decompose
and the world may be full of garbage someday.

astarael88 is right. Its better to get a bottle that is meant to be reused like Klean Kanteen and Sigg.

reusing water bottles

Reusing water bottles may help with recycling, but it is not good for your health. The bottled waters you buy at the store, such as Evian and Aquafina, come in bottles that should not be reused more than once. With enough reuse, dangerous chemicals erode from the bottle into your water.
