It's the newest and hottest trend around, going GREEN. You've seen the stylish hybrid cars attempting to protect our environment, as well as many people installing solar panels into their homes to cut down on electricity. Now the craze has spread to one of the most influential places of all, the runways during L.A. Fashion Week. For the six designers showcased during The Green Initiative Humanitarian Fashion Show it looked so easy being green.
Lined with potted bamboo plants and the hope of saving the world one outfit at a time, the Green Initiative Humanitarian Fashion Show runway would soon be a rockin' with dancers, hot male and female models and cultural musings.
Getting things started...
M the Movement designed by Simplicio Michael Luis led off, with two break-dancing guys, one proved that white boys do have rhythm, followed by a men's line of jeans, argyle sweaters, tailored shirts, and jackets--all made of sustainable materials.
Highlight: Hunky make model with suspenders.
