Lilikoi by Barbara Boswell sent Hawaiian hula dancers out first with lightening speed and hips gyrating faster than Elvis'. One of the better and shorter collections of the bunch featured pencil skirts paired with form-fitting tees, above-the-knee dresses paired with leggings, and wrap dresses, all created using cloth made of bamboo, soy, organic cotton, and linen.

Highlight: Wrap dress with leggings.

Vintage China by Andrew Wong and Deacon Yu opened their show with Chinese scarf dancers, proceeding into their collection of both men and women's looks. For him, knits and dress shirts with Chinese paintings screen printed across the front. For her, knit Henley's and button downs and pencil-thin gray jeans topped by a sheer gray blouse.

Highlight: A patched-together denim evening gown with a fitted bodice and a long train.

Rene Geneva Design brought us to the ballet and also to Renaissance times with her line of corset-based eveningwear, satin dresses, and micro minis, all made with handmade organic textiles--one look even resembling a flirty Little Red Riding Hood.

Highlight: An ivory and copper corset gown with bubble train.
