Prom can be a very special night for a couple. The night has its ebbs and flows (family photo taking is definitely an ebb, or maybe a flow, whichever is the bad one). Quite possibly the one slow dance of the night has the potential to be the peak, and in my case it definitely was. I went to Prom with my then girlfriend, Jenny, and the slow dance was by far the highlight of the night. It was five years ago and yet I still have a distinct image of that moment and man was I a horrible dancer (still am). Is this one the greatest slow dance slow songs of all-time? Probably not. But those boys are just too adorable. Not to mention that Joe is right around Prom going age. Who would be a better slow dance partner?
4) John Legend "Slow Dance"
"Slow Dance" is the most meta of slow dance songs. What can be better than a slow dance song named "Slow Dance" about slow dancing. Otherwise, the song is just phenomenal, great groove and some feel good lyrics. Nothing can inspire your date to get up and dance than Legend preaching to forget all your worries "and let the music make you move."
