The world famous Tavern on the Green has played host to many movie and Broadway premieres, it has also held its own in bit parts in classic movies, all the while continuing to cater to every person from every background for any occasion. Tavern's shabby chicness along with its timeless appearance seemed like the perfect place to host KiwiProm 2008.
The ladies of KiwiProm 2008 enjoyed the perks of the restaurant's Crystal Room, the lounge and the Terrace Room as well as a horse drawn carriage ride around Central Park, a sit on the Bethesda Fountain and a walk through Strawberry Fields. A night surely to remember, whether you are a princess in pink, beautiful in blue or zany in zebra-- each Prom dress we picked out is a uniquely gorgeous fit for every personality. Not to keen on being a pretty princess? We have a Madonna inspired frock, as well as a peachy Halle Berry number and a whimsical Sienna Miller look. Like Tavern on the Green, each dress is timeless and classy and not easily forgotten.
Without further adieu...

over here. I liked a lot of these dresses, but especially loved
the multicoloured one on p. 7 and the black and blue on p. 13. I
don't think I'd wear either of those to prom - if I ever get a
prom I want to be white and meringuey, LOL - but I'd definitely
wear them out to dinner. I might see if I can find either of them
on ebay in a few months. A lot of girls sell their prom dresses,
right?
I thought it was a really nice shoot. Sure, some of the dresses
show a bit of skin, but none of them look over-provocative, IMO.
Nice job, models. (And everyone else who worked on this. =)
