The famous saying "You don't know what you have, until it's gone" is seemingly true and becoming a reality. People are just now realizing that we need to step up our game and go green. To put it plainly, without trees life on Earth would be impossible. Whether you believe in a higher being or not, we can all agree that trees were definitely put on Earth for a reason. So where in this "Green Frenzy" do you fit, you ask? Well even the smallest changes can make a difference, and here are easy ways that you can help:

Recycle, recycle, recycle!

Even though it isn't a new or a more exciting way of saving our earth, it IS one of the biggest ways you can help without having to go out and spend extra money on solar panels or hybrids. It's easy, it's environmentally friendly and it's cheap. Make it a routine to recycle bottles, paper, plastics and even food. You'll find that you'll hardly even use a garbage can.

Trade in your books for trees

For those of you who like to read and take pride in your wide collection of books, you can help as well. Go out to a used bookstore or library instead of buying books in one of the bigger book chains, I guarantee they'll probably have some interesting, readable material that you can choose from.
