Out of a dorm room at USC in December of 2001, Five Four Clothing was born. Two seniors, Andres Izquieta and Dee Murthy wanted to design a clothing line that represented their lifestyle and interests. Hailing from Los Angeles, the two sons of immigrant parents, Five Four was created with the intention of success through risk and conquer. After graduating USC, Andres and Dee maxed out all their credit cards, borrowed money from family and friends and bought a booth at the August 2002 MAGIC show in Las Vegas. Originally a line of six basic tees, Five Four has grown a full collection of over 150 styles in five years.
With aspirations of being the next Ralph Lauren, it seems like Five Four Clothing has just begun.
