Jaime Keiles, a jewelry crafter in Pennsylvania, makes bracelets out of recycled book bindings. Her "Novel Idea" cuffs are not only innovative but affordable, too. At $24 a piece, the binding from a vintage book is backed by leather and closed with a metal stud. Her Storybook Maiden Diptych Necklace, $16, is made from wood and an image cut from a children's storybook. The Flora Freeway Necklace, $10, is comprised of a couple of images each taken from separate places (a vintage book, a highway map), glued together to have a floral effect, and attached to a circular pendant that comes on a string.
