Recycling Fashion

Need a new statement bag, but tired of the same cult favorites that everyone else has? Make a statement in more than one way by carrying these bags by Donkey. Made from recycled billboards, they come in various sizes and shapes and are all unique. The designers are from New Zealand and in an attempt to make something from a product that would otherwise be garbage, they came up with bags made from billboards. Genius! Billboards are made to last through serious weather conditions, extensive handling, etc...perfect material for something that is supposed to protect what's INSIDE but still look fashionable on the outside. With regular bags and "flat bags" ranging from $12, yoga bags starting at $45 and large totes at $65, there's something for everyone. What's even more amazing: each bag comes with an identification number that you can use on the website to find out the history of your bag and what billboard it actually came from. Shop www.donkeyny.com for styles.

From New Zealand to New York to Pennsylvania, people everywhere are trying to do something new that's a little better for the earth. Not just one day of the year, but all 365. Shouldn't you try doing your part, too? Even if you can't MAKE something, instead of going for the mass-manufactured, child-labor-law-abusing products that are detrimental not only to our fellow humans but to the earth as well, give your money to a corporation that's trying to make a difference. That way your good will can be recycled into someone else's. After all, one man's trash IS another man's treasure.
