She is the queen of nursery rhymes who entertained us with tales of little Miss Muffet, Mary and her little lamb and that crazy dish and spoon.

But who is she?

Mother goose is obviously not a goose, yet she hasn’t appeared in any books, photographs or newspapers to date. Who is this mysterious woman then? We tracked down some theories to find out who the mother of all mothers really is.

there is only 2 theories here one of the blurbs says there is 3...oh well..

i like the boston theory... but idk....it is a mystery

not only is she the mother of all geese, but she is the mother of all nursery rhyme characters ever. i know bold statement. but a true bold statement :)
