Celeb Momma

These days, it seems like the celebrity world is having its own baby boom. And of course with the boom comes scandal not too far behind. Here are a few of our favorite celebrity moms (maybe even some not-so-favorite) and the 411 on their lives, kids and all that's in between. Ahem… Posh has HOW MANY sons? I hope I look like that after having kids.

Momma Lamb

Gwen Stefani, the music industry’s infamous rocker-chic girl first had her claim to fame in her band No Doubt (think: Spiderwebs, Just a Girl, Don’t Speak- blast from the past, right?). With husband Gavin Rossdale and 2-year old son Kingston, she still manages to find time to dedicate to L.A.M.B., her clothing collection she debuted in 2003. Today, her line covers everything from clothing to handbags and is inspired by Japanese fashion. On top of all that, she’s expecting another child this year. Go, Gwen!

Momma Saves the World

Angelina Jolie started out as a bad-ass, married to Billy Bob Thornton and causing a people to stop and stare everywhere she went. Now toting four children and not to mention partner, Brad Pitt, it seems all of her spare time goes to saving humanity. She’s a Goodwill Ambassador for the UN Refugee Agency. She has donated millions of dollars to refugee camps and relief-efforts around the world. When Angelina visits, she visits like anyone else would, sans white linens and 5-star hotel service just because she’s Angelina. Truly a hero, hopefully her children will inherit their mother’s good-will and spread it infinitely as she does.

Why Use This . . .

By: elainerach KiwinoteMake A Friend Date: 5/7/2008
to bash Britney? Again and again and again. You're just adding to the media frenzy and the Revolving Door of Hell that the paparazzi are perpetuating. This article was supposed to be about positive maternal role models, so why end it by bashing someone whom is obviously having some serious mental health issues? I mean, c'mon, we already know Britney is having mega-problems. You didn't have to use this attempt at an article to bash her. The article was good until I read "Momma Gone Bad". And, no, I'm not a Britney Spears crusader, but I just feel that Britney has been through more than enough hell already and that, albeit we live in America where freedom of speech is our birthright, a little human decency and some kind words towards Britney Spears would probably help her out a great deal. She is responsible for her actions, but is there nowhere left to go and be bombarded by Britney bashing? PLEASE GIVE BRITNEY A BREAK, FOR THE LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!

Good article. But you should've included Mariska Hargitay from Law & Order SVU. Besides being a mom and an amazing actress, she founded the Joyful Heart Foundation which helps the victims of sexual assault, including taking them to swim with dolphins. She also helps out several other good causes.
