It's the perfect way to give mom some down time by getting her a newly released DVD that she is apt to love. Pair them with a box of popcorn, or maybe some chips! Also, watch it with her, because it's the time spent with you that she will appreciate the most!

There Will Be Blood

This one seems pretty scary when you read the title, but moms will love the opportunity to check out a movie that won so many Academy Awards this year! She may not have had the time to check it out while it was in theaters, so give her this movie, which is bound to keep her on her toes, and even your Dad will like it. On the other hand, if your mom isn't into twisted characters or violence, this may not be the best title for her.

P.S. I Love You

This film is a favorite of girls everywhere, but it's a tear jerker! If you're mom is the romantic type, she will love this movie. Hilary Swank is adorable and heartbreaking, playing the widow whose diseased husband has left her a planned out schedule in the year after his death to help her cope with losing him, but still remember him. Oddly, it's sad, but it's still feel good movie at the same time.
