Sure they aren't Brad and Angelina, but video game couples are cute and famous in a different way. We have a special sort of attachment to them. While we can watch celeb couples on TV or in the movies and follow their love lives via celebrity gossip, with gaming duos we are the ones who help them on their quest for love. Without us they would fall victim to fiery pits, evil mushrooms or scary neon ghosts! Watching them reunite as we have battled for their love through levels upon levels of potentially fatal obstacles, gives us the kind of satisfaction we could only feel as if it were us finally kissing the girl or guy of our video game dreams. In honor of the gaming issue, we are counting down the cutest game love matches of all time.
Sonic and Amy Rose
These two adorable hedgehogs seemed to be a match made in heaven. She's of course pink and fluffy and he is her tiny blue savior. A little bit of a troublemaker, this self-proclaimed ice cream-aholic who "hates boredom" was kidnapped by the evil metal sonic. It was up to Sonic to rescue her. In later years she moved on from the damsel in distress to an actual character. She has gone through name and outfit changes and it's rumored that this pair is now on the fritz. Being the rouge individual he is, oftentimes Amy Rose was chasing him. She has now moved on, but this author speculates this break up isn't forever.
