May officially kicks off summer blockbuster season, and with that comes the inevitable movie tie-ins, i.e. video games, to get audiences riled up for releases. As we've learned in the past, a great movie doesn't necessarily mean a great video game, but you never know. Check out these three new movie-based games, and decide for yourself if they'll be worth playing.

Iron Man

Who would've thought that Robert Downey Jr. would stay out of jail long enough to make a killer movie? Iron Man turned out to be an awesome success, and a sequel is already in the cards for 2010. It would seem that a superhero movie of this caliber would translate nicely into the gaming world, but will it deliver? Available for all consoles, the game promises open-ended battlefields, additional plotlines found only in the comic series, and the ability to customize attacks using any combo of Iron Man's weapons that you like. Iron Man's suit was basically made to destroy, so this game looks to be a ton of fun.
