In 1997, she got a little help from a good friend Tommy Hilfiger, whose sister was inflicted with MS as well. Together they set out to raise money and awareness.
"[This year] both Tommy Hilfiger and I decided that MS needed a color to brand itself with," Nancy said." And we both felt orange was very symbolic and something we could grow with. It's vibrant, happy and healthy, and also looks very chic as a fashion accessory."
